The sky clapped with a roaring thunder that sent shivers down Bairon's small spine before he could tear a piece from the juicy drumstick in his right hand.
'I guess the wind earlier was warning us of a storm.' He mused, staring at the flashy sky.
"What's wrong? Afraid of some thunder?" Adrian winked from across the table. He kept on swiveling his head in all directions, hoping that Eris or Elizabeth walks into the dining hall. At a time like this, when the sky is rather furious, he had read that girls usually jump into the main character's arms at the sound of thunder.
"Hehehehehehe…"
He grinned at the thought of a young maiden jumping into his arms. They might not be muscular, but he was confident about his strength as a human. He couldn't wait to look into her eyes and say, 'Your safe now.'
WARNING: Adrian doesn't know the first thing about real girls.
