Elizabeth sliced her sword through the vines that were in her way. Looks like the further she went, the harder it was to move because of the thick vegetation around her.
According to what she had learned, the Glaydan woods were usually the safest place to infiltrate the human domain of the south from. The beasts here were weak, all below Class D—meaning fighting them wasn't supposed to be a problem. Which made it more baffling as to why many people were dying.
"Could it be that stronger beasts have traveled from the dark forests—"
She stopped moving when such a thought flew out of her mouth. She could only imagine the number of lives that would be lost if they decided to cross over because it was the least guarded area of the boundary.
