She stared at him nonchalantly, the sadness in his eyes was there, but she didn't want him to feel bad or responsible for her coming passing.
"I can't stop you from feeling bad, can I?" she asked, resentfully.
"You're the only person that has ever shown me true kindness."
"Idiot. Eris does seem like a good fit though…a potential soul mate maybe?" she smirked wickedly and winked at him like she was hinting at something.
"Don't have such thoughts, you pervert."
She made a fake gasp. "I only wish the best for you dear brother. A gorgeous princess by your side is a nice fit, don't ya think?" she said, trying a bit too hard to sound poetic in a way. "I wonder what your kids will look like."
She added, thoughtfully.
"Stop that. She's too young for—"
"Too young? Aren't you fourteen? In a few more months you will be fifteen."
And she will be sixteen by then. Also, I don't plan on having a mate any time soon…"
