We went to bed at almost midnight, and we were both feeling very tired and sleepy, "We should go to bed, baby", I said
"Yes, I was thinking the same thing", he said, yawning and rubbing his eyes.
I laughed.
"So you were waiting for me to say it first? Baby, you are so funny"
"Let's just go to bed, this woman"
"Woman? A sexy young girl like me...emphasis on girl", I said and turned around.
"Uhhh... And this girl is my girl. All mine"
"All yours? You be careful because someone might just snatch me up from you"
"Snatch you? No one would dare try that", he said
I laughed again.
"Let's just go to bed, my love", I dragged him with me, into the bedroom.
We went into the bedroom and collapsed on the bed at the same time, exhausted. We turned to each other and started laughing.
"Why are you laughing?", Cheta asked me
"Why are you laughing too?", I asked him
"Don't worry about it, I'm tired baby",
"I am tired too but I have to take a shower first, so I'll join you when I'm done", I said
"Okay, baby".
I got up from the bed, and walked into the bathroom, while Cheta got comfortable, and took out his phone.
I got undressed and got under the shower, I couldn't have water run from my hair because I had just braided my hair the day before, so I just had the water run from my shoulder, I put my body wash in my palm and rubbed it up on my body, using my body sponge to scrub all over my body. I stayed in the shower for about 20 minutes before I got out. I got in the bathroom towel and walked into the room. Cheta was sleeping by the time I was out of the bathroom, so I picked out my night dress and wore it, I turned off the light and got into bed with Cheta and he opened his arms and I curled up in his arms and shut my eyes,
"You smell nice. How was your bath?", Cheta asked, I'm sure his eyes were still closed,
"It was relaxing", I said,
"That's good", Cheta said and kissed me lightly on the lips, then he added, "Good night, baby"
"Good night, my love", I said and I slept off. I didn't even have the strength to have my regular thinking time.

We woke up early the next morning, almost at the same time, this time Cheta woke up before me, he turned over and kissed me on the forehead, and I opened my eyes.
"Good morning, baby", I said, rubbing my eyes
"Good morning, love", he said, moving closer and trying to kiss me,
"Morning breath, baby", I said, covering my mouth,
"I've said I don't care. Come here", he tries to hold me, but I avoid him and get up from the bed in a hurry,
"Stop it babe",
"Come here", he got out of them and came after me, I run into the bathroom and shut the door.
"Baby, it's too early for this", I said, laughing.
"No, it's not. Open the door. I'm kissing my girlfriend and you are not stopping me",
"Baby!! Please! I'll kiss you after I brush",
"Nope. I want to kiss you now", he said,
"Baby, you know I have to get ready and eat before the make up artist gets here"
"That's why you should let me kiss you now",
"Okay... okay", I said and then I opened the door and walked out of the bathroom.
"Just a kiss on the lip, baby", I said
He laughed and said, "You won't tell me how to kiss you",
I laughed and stepped closer to him and he leaned in and kissed me on the lips lightly.
"Now you can go and brush your teeth and shower", he said
"Are you sure?", I asked and stepped back, smiling,
"You are getting cocky, I see", he said, smiling.
"I mean", I said, laughing. I turned and walked back into the bathroom and then I heard Cheta talking to someone on the phone, it was about work, I think. I stayed in the bathroom for sometime and when I got out, Cheta shook his head and looked at me,
"I didn't know you were going to get out from the bathroom", he said,
I chuckled.
"I didn't even stay that long", I said,
"You did. I better get in there",
"You should, if not I'll be eating breakfast without you", I said
"I'll be fast babe", he said and walked into the bathroom.
I went on and continued getting dressed for breakfast, and right before I finished getting dressed, a call came on my phone, it was from a producer I had written the script for,
"Good morning ma'am", I said, after I had connected the call
"Good morning Chimdinma. I got the script you sent, but I haven't finished it, just halfway right now", she answered, over the phone,
"Okay ma'am.",
"But I love it, just a few corrections", she said
"Okay ma'am. I look forward to the corrections"
"Okay. I'll let you get back to what you were doing. Have a nice day", she said,
"Thank you ma'am and you too", I said and disconnected the call. Cheta came out of the bathroom a few minutes later.
"Who was that, babe?", he asked me,
"It's the producer, I wrote for.. she was calling to tell me that she loved the script",
"Oh! That's good, baby. You know I'm so proud for you", he said,
"I know because you tell me that every time",
"Well, I'm keep telling you.", he said and went on to get dressed.
We went downstairs to have breakfast. While we were still having breakfast, the make up artist called to say she was at the gate, Cheta had too call, so that they let her into the house. A few minutes later, the house keeper let her into the house and I got up to meet her in the living room.
"Good morning ma'am", she said when I walked into the living room.
"Good morning.. do you want to have breakfast?", I asked her.
"No, ma'am. I'm fine"
"Okay, I'll join you soon. I'm still eating breakfast. But you can start setting up", I said.
"Okay ma'am", she said.
I walked back to dining area to continue my breakfast. Then I started eating really fast, trying to finish my breakfast.
"You don't have to rush your food babe", Cheta said to me
"But she is waiting for me.",
"She will wait for you, baby", Cheta said,
"I don't like people waiting for me", I said
"Still, don't rush your food, or you will have an indigestion",
I slowed down and said, "Okay, I'll slow down"
I finished eating my breakfast and went over to the living room to join the make up artist in the living room. She started with cleaning my face, and when she was done with that, she started applying the other things, I really don't want to bore you with all that details. When we were done with the make up, I went upstairs to the suite and Cheta was already for the wedding, should I just say that my boyfriend was looking so handsome in the Ibo traditional attire he was wearing. I had never seen him in anything except for a shirt and pants and it felt good to just see him in that.
"My goodness, baby you look extra handsome" I said to him
"I mean...", he said and turned around showing off, then he walked closer to me and said, "Someone looks extra beautiful this morning and I don't know how to act right now", he took my hand and kissed my palm, then he added, "I'm just being a gentleman because I don't want to smudge your make up, so please wear your dress, so that we can leave",
"Okay, baby. I'll be done in a jiffy", I said.
I walked over to the wardrobe where my dress was hanging and then I took it out and put it on.
"Baby, please I need your help with my zipper", I said to Cheta,
"Okay, baby",
He walked over to me and pulled my zipper up and looked at me again, admiring me,
"This dress is giving me a lot of ideas, but like I said before I'll just be a gentleman", he said,
I laughed.
"I apologize for that. I'll just finish with my hair and we will be out of here,, my love", I said, chuckling.
I went into the bathroom and stood in front of the mirror to fix my hair, I stood there for a while trying to think of what to do, and then I got an idea and went on with it. I finished up and went into the room to meet Cheta and when he saw me, he whistled, I didn't even know he could do that,
"Wow! Who is this? And what have you done with my girlfriend?", he asked, still whistling,
"Thank you, baby. Can we go now? We are late, remember?"
"Yes, we are... let's go.", he said and we walked out of the suite together. We walked out of the house and got into the car and drove out of the house. I was looking forward to this wedding and seeing Chioma in her wedding dress, I know she would look very beautiful. So let's go and have fun.
