Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: Summoning Exam

It was a beautiful morning in the magical city of Hikari. The sun was shining bright, and the birds were chirping happily. It was a perfect day to be alive, but for one particular high school student, it was a day of dread.

His name was Takashi, and he was a student at the Hikari High School of Magic. Takashi was a boy of small stature with messy black hair and glasses that covered his eyes. He was an introvert and did not have many friends. He spent most of his time studying and practicing magic.

Takashi was not confident in himself because he had been bullied when he was younger. His bullies had defeated him in a mock battle in middle school, humiliating him in front of his classmates. Since then, he had lost all confidence in himself and believed he was weak.

The Summoning Exam was tomorrow, and Takashi had no confidence in his ability to pass. His classmates, who had been laughing at him, expected him to fail and repeat his class. They had already summoned dragons, beasts, monsters, insects, and beetles, and Takashi was the only one left.

As Takashi walked towards the exam hall, his classmates were shouting "Failure Magician" at him repeatedly. He wanted to cry, but he was used to it by now. He took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and began to chant.

"Summon forth the power within me, and let it take shape. I call upon the forces of the universe to bring forth my familiar."

Takashi was not sure if he would pass or not, but in a miracle, he was able to summon an angel from heaven's highest tier. He was shocked to see the angel before him and was speechless.

The angel spoke to Takashi, convincing him to perform a contract with her. She said she would help him overcome his lack of confidence and become a great magician. Takashi agreed, and he became the familiar of the angel.

After the exam, Takashi was shocked to see that he had received full marks, a perfect score. His classmates were jealous of him, not because of his score, but because of the angel he had summoned. They secretly talked to the angel, inviting her to go out with them, but she rejected them.

The angel knew the whole story of Takashi's suffering and wanted to help him. She told Takashi that the demon king had noticed him, and he would come for him. The demon king was a destroyer, and the angel wanted to help Takashi fight against him.

That night, Takashi sat in his dorm room, talking to the angel. She explained to him the importance of having confidence in himself and how he could use his magic to protect those he loved. Takashi was amazed at how much he had to learn about magic, but he was willing to try.

The angel blushed as she spoke to Takashi, telling him how she would help him become a great magician and fight alongside him. Takashi felt a surge of confidence in himself and was ready to face any challenge that came his way. He knew that he had a long way to go, but with the help of his angel, he felt like he could accomplish anything.

As he drifted off to sleep that night, Takashi couldn't help but feel grateful for the angel who had come into his life. He knew that the road ahead would be difficult, but he was determined to face it head-on.

The Summoning Exam may have been a turning point for Takashi, but little did he know that it was just the beginning of his journey as a magician. A journey that would take him to the depths of darkness, and to the heights of glory.

With his newfound confidence and the help of his angel, Takashi was ready to face whatever the future held for him. And as he closed his eyes, he knew that the world was full of magic and wonder, waiting for him to explore.
