As it was the very first day of classes, which Yasuo didn't want to miss, he set his goal of creating a portal clearing group aside as it wasn't something that couldn't be achieved in a day anyway, and put his focus on attending classes for the day.
After looking at the online schedule, Yasuo picked two classes to follow that day that weren't overlapping each other and he deemed as most important. The classes that Yasuo chose were a dagger wielding lecture and a rune drawing lecture, which were both two hours long.
With only fifteen minutes left before the first lecture was going to start, Yasuo stood up immediately and headed towards the correct lecture hall. As the routes to the lecture halls were marked well, Yasuo could easily follow the right path, but because the building was so big it would still take at least a few minutes to arrive at the lecture hall.
On his way there some thoughts popped into Yasuo's head, which made him feel uneasy. 'Won't people find it weird and get suspicious if I follow both a dagger wielding class and a rune drawing class, which are two vastly different subjects?'
With the idea of people finding out his unique class making Yasuo uncomfortable, he decided it would be best to take off his badge and sit in an inconspicuous seat in the lecture hall so that people wouldn't recognize him.
As Yasuo took off his badge, it felt weird. 'Why do I have to hide myself? Why do I even hide my [Rune Possessor] class?'
Yasuo stopped when he asked himself this question, because he couldn't even answer it himself. From the moment he awakened, he tried to hide that he was an awakened, hide his class and hide his evolution dagger.
'Why?'
Thinking back about why Yasuo hid these things, he remembered that he mainly hid the fact that he was an awakened because of his age and knowing that he wouldn't be allowed to go into portals at that point in time.
'Hiding my [Rune Possessor] class was just a result of hiding that I am an awakened… I have no reason to hide my class. It is a strong class, which isn't all that weird if you think about it.'
The moment Yasuo thought about this, it felt like a weight was lifted off his shoulders.
'I can be confident in my class!' Yasuo thought excitedly. 'Laying everything in the open will be better for myself, both for my mental health and for becoming stronger… Well, maybe I should keep the evolution dagger a secret… Yeah let's do that, I haven't seen anyone else with something similar, they might do some weird experiments on me.'
Yasuo made himself laugh. He was already in a good mood since this morning, but thinking about not hiding his class anymore made him even more cheerful, feeling alive now more than ever before.
Not having to be mindful anymore of hiding things, Yasuo could confidently follow both lectures. Yasuo still didn't sit in the 'privilege' seat in the front row, but that was because he just felt uncomfortable to be the centre of attention.
But other people didn't seem to be uncomfortable with it, as all ten seats were occupied. None of them by the top ten students as there were apparently no dagger wielding or rune drawing awakened in the top ten, so they didn't follow these lectures.
After a total of four hours of lectures, Yasuo had followed all the classes he wanted to for that day. As it was only the first day, it were pretty basic lectures. But even though they were elementary, they were very comprehensive and were on a way higher academic level than Yasuo had ever taught himself.
With the information from the lectures, Yasuo had already used up many pages of his notebook that day. 'Maybe I should use one notebook per subject. Yeah, that would be better.'
With this thought in mind, Yasuo immediately went to the library, where the librarian was happy to see him. After some small talk, Yasuo explained that he had already filled a lot of pages in his notebook with different subjects and that he would like to get a few more so he could organize his notes.
The librarian, Julia Levine, smiled warmly while Yasuo was explaining this to her. "Of course I can give you more notebooks. I can even do you one better." Said Julia Levine as she took out a few notebooks for Yasuo and some sort of device.
"What is that device?" Yasuo asked, never having seen one before.
Julia Levine smiled kindly at Yasuo. "Can you give your notebook to me." She said, ignoring Yasuo's question.
As Yasuo trusted Julia Levine, he gave her his notebook without hesitation and soon found out what the purpose of the device was.
As Julia Levine put the notebook in the device, it started to flip through the pages and copy every single letter that was written down on it.
"Wow" Yasuo said out loud, being amazed by a real magic device.
Julia Levine chuckled at Yasuo's reaction. "So, what pages do you want in which notebook."
As Yasuo explained what pages he wanted in which notebook, it didn't even take a minute for everything to have been transferred over to the new notebooks.
"Thank you very much." Yasuo said earnestly as it would have taken him at least a good few hours to have transferred everything by hand.
"You're welcome. Just don't tell anyone else, okay?"
Yasuo nodded with a smile on his face. "I won't tell a single soul."
"Good. You should probably go and eat something now, it is prime dinnertime."
Already having skipped lunch to follow classes, Yasuo was indeed hungry. "Yes I will go and eat something." Yasuo quickly said before thanking Julia Levine one more time and quickly going to the cafeteria.
The cafeteria had the same setting as in the morning, being busy because it was the perfect dinnertime. But now knowing his privilege immediately, it didn't even take five minutes before his meal was served.
Sitting in the same spot, Yasuo enjoyed his meal while looking out the window, seeing the sun going into hiding behind the mountains.
Having finished his meal, Yasuo headed home much earlier compared to yesterday. With still a few hours before he had to go to bed and with plenty of energy to spare, Yasuo had thought about the perfect thing to do.
'Let's test out the augmented reality in my own basement!'
When entering the house Yasuo didn't waste a second, quickly putting his notebooks on the table closest to him before going straight into the elevator, taking him down to the training room.
Entering the training room almost felt surreal even though he had entered it before, just from the sight of it alone and from the advanced technology the augmented reality was.
Yasuo couldn't wait to enter the augmented reality, thinking back to the evaluation test, and quickly grabbed the full-body training suit. And just like at the evaluation test, a hologram appeared before him.
But unlike at the evaluation test, the hologram asked him to set up an account. It was more extensive than he thought, after filling in his general information like name and date of birth, several scans had to be conducted, which measured Yasuo's whole body and gave him a precise measurement of height, weight, fat percentage and showed a detailed view of muscle density and mass for every specific area of the body.
The hologram prompted that these measurements were not necessary for the program to function, but with this information, the program could give an evaluation on muscle usage and many more statistics.
Having completed every step for setting up an account, a staring screen finally appeared.

~Level: F-rank 1 (Clear levels to get access to higher difficulty levels)~
~Selection: [Solo] or [Team]~
Almost everything that was displayed on the hologram was the same as in the evaluation test, but there was one thing that was different, which Yasuo didn't expect, the [team] option.
'That can't be, can it?' Being curious about it, he clicked on it.
~Team selection~
~Player 1. Yasuo Mun
~Player 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 not registered~

'You can use augmented reality in a group?!' Yasuo was surprised by this, but he already had an inkling that this was the case when he saw the [team] option.
The more Yasuo thought about a team option in augmented reality, the more amazed he became by it. 'With this we can practice like a poral clearing group without getting injured at all!'
This morning, Yasuo was thinking about how he would create a portal clearing group, and came to the realisation that the most challenging part of creating a group with random students was to create trust in each other. So much trust that you could leave your back to your teammate even in portals.
The only solution that Yasuo had come up with, was to first become friends with each other, and create trust in this way, which even Yasuo himself knew that it wasn't a viable option. But now with an augmented reality space available where getting injured won't be an issue, the most challenging problem for creating a portal clearing group had been resolved.
The augmented reality space was literally the prefect environment to create trust in each other, get to know each other's fighting styles and to learn teamwork without any repercussions. Now the only thing standing in his way was finding people he wanted to team up with.
As Yasuo thought about who he was going to approach, he soon realised that the pond wasn't as big as he thought. 'With only the top ten ranking students having this augmented reality, they will be the only ones that this plan could work with…'
Yasuo had already wanted to only group up with strong people, but he hadn't narrowed his list down to only the top ten ranking students. But Yasuo didn't let this stop him, and he even saw this as an opportunity to possibly create an even stronger group than he had expected.
Being in the moment Yasuo started to think about who from the top ten he wanted to be together with in a portal clearing group, but soon realized he didn't really have any information about the top ten students.
"Let's stalk the top ten students tomorrow!" Said Yasuo excitedly, not realising that it would have sounded creepy if anyone had heard him.
