Everyone had come for the trip to have fun, but Amelia wasn't in high spirit, she was definitely missing Max.
"It seems Mr Max is here", one of the employees shouted.
Amelia's heart was beating fast, she stared at herself, did her dress fit?, Did she apply enough makeup. It was evening, she realized she didn't have any makeup on. There was definitely no need for that, she was beautiful the way she was.
"Let's all have a drink inside", Mr Max said as soon as he came in, and everyone was excited than usual.
After the drink, everyone came together to watch a movie.
"It's great you came, even after overworking you last night", Max said to Amelia who pretended to be engrossed with the Movie.
"So he knew he overworked me, was he trying to stop me from coming before, how cruel", Amelia said to herself.
"Yes sir", she said with a fake smile.
He kept talking about work for the past 1 hour. It was annoying, Amelia wanted to just have fun. But here she was with her boss and her crush talking about work.

"Hi Bianca, what brings you here, Mr Max isn't around, he left few hours ago" Alice said to Bianca.
"Is there a reason for me to be at my brother's house, i'm sure he told you I'll be coming, please keep your questions to yourself". Bianca said and looked at her from head to toe.
"And why are you dressed like this, you are not in your house, you're not even in your room!, Are you planning to seduce my brother and make him fall for you?, If that's what you're thinking, just discard those thoughts, my brother can never like you, even if he does, I'll make sure he stops!". Bianca said in anger and sat down.
"Why do you u hate me so much?, Did i ever do somethung to you", Alice asked faking tears.
"Those tears can't get to me, to be honest you look like a gold digger, i don't like you and I'm not sure I will." Bianca said with disgust, increasing the volume of the television.

"His health is deteriorating and he is in the final stage of his cancer, he may not last 4hours", The doctor taking care of Rodriguez had said in panic.
"We should call his family", another nurse said.
The doctor called Max and informed him to be at the hospital as fast as he could.
Max could not hold back the tears falling freely from his face, he had barely come back from their trip when he received the call.
"Dad, open your eyes, are you okay?", Max said in panic, he couldn't let his dad go like this, not yet, his sister was miserable as well as his mom, he couldn't leave like this, they had to help them.
"Max, take care of your mother and sister, I'm not sure I can handle this anymore. I didn't want to make you worried that was why i couldn't tell you about my health. Change the family for good, and do what makes you happy. Don't worry I'll be glad to see my grandchildren when I die, you don't have to panic.
Just as he said this words, Bianca and Beatrice rushed in, but he had breath his last.
Bianca fell to the ground in tears, "It hurts so much, why did you have to die now", she screamed in tears.
Beatrice had a plain look of sadness on her face, it was clear in her eyes. Max looked at them and prayed for them to change their wayward life. He would miss his Dad afterall.

"Amelia, you'll have to do this for me, the business trip, you'll have to go for me, something happened and i cant make it", Max said to Amelia over the phone.
"Sir, is everything okay, what is the problem?", Amelia asked in fright
"Actually, The chairman just died, My Dad is dead", He said trying so hard to control his tears.
"I....I'm...I'm....so sorry about that, I'll definitely fill in for you, please take good care of yourself, my regards to Bianca".
"No problem, please inform me about it when you're back. The flight takes off tomorrow at 4pm, I'll send the remaining information to you tonight. All you have to do there is to represent me in the meeting, it's for the betterment of the company". He said and hung up.
Amelia felt so bad for him, she had visited his Dad on several occasions and he seemed to like her.
