In a respectful demeanor, Andrew straightened his back with his head held high and his hand clasped in front of him as he spoke.
"Father, there was no traces of Anna in Valley town... We searched and asked each one of the town folks, but none of them have seen a girl or a woman like her. If she is not dead, I doubt she is in this kingdom..."
"Dead??..." Lucas asked not anyone specifically with a sly smile on his face as he continued.
"Your sister is not dead and neither is she out of this kingdom... Was there anything odd during your search in the town?" Lucas asked Andrew while narrowing his eyes.
Andrew furrowed his brows. His father seemed well-informed. Just as he had thought. But why was he so certain that Anna was alive and was in that town? Was there another anonymous informant somewhere? If there was, how come they only knew she was alive and not where she was exactly?
