Nate got home and opened the front door only to meet his mother's look of anxiety as she walked up hastily to him upon hearing the front door open.
Had something happened?
"Nate!... My boy, are...are you okay?" She asked in a stutter. She looked so fearful it caused Nate to feel guilty thinking he might have made her worried. Did the news about what happened in the woods spread already?
"Am fine mother..."
Nate responded calmly.
Lucy had an unbelievable expression on her face. She grabbed Nate by the shoulders and checked him out to see any wounds or any sign of change on him in case he had done something unbelievable in the woods. There was a change though... The clothes he wore before leaving were not the exact ones he was wearing now. Meaning he had them changed. Looking at Nate, there was not a single scratch on him or anything different about him. He still looked the same. She believed Nate had been in the woods. But had Irene lied to her about him being in danger?
