This is Ar's third day of walking through the dungeon. After killing the alfa, Ar didn't met any creature worth killing, it was pretty disappointing to him. He wanted to try his new spears, that he made from the alpha's bones and a sticks. Ar made exactly three smaller spears and two knives from the alpha's fangs.
All changed after getting near a big cave that emitted rich energy in it. He went in for about three seconds, before hurriedly coming out. 'Was that poison in the air?' After Ar came out of the cave he checked his condition. He was okay his high constitution could probably give him about an hour before seriously injuring him.
He was greedy by nature and after gaining a skill orb last time, he didn't want to waste an opportunity like this.
His key helper in these situations is his high body adaptability. Ar covered his body by ice picked a spear in by each hand and went rushing in. After a minute of sprinting he stopped, sensing multiple enemies. He looked around his self and saw nothing, then he looked up and got immediately frightened. 'No, no, no… what the hell!? There are thousands of terrible things in this world! So why spiders?! Why?!!!!!'
The spiders came down by their webs, surrounding him. They were all at least a meter tall and there were about eight of them.
Ar tried to run back to the entrance while throwing the spears in his hands.
There were exactly three spiders in front of me. First spear went for the one in the middle and second one for the one at my left side. I ran towards the second one, jumping to the wall and then bounced from it, basically jumping over the injured or maybe dead spider.
These spiders were disgustingly fast, the spider on the right was running towards me.
As he kept getting close I picked my last spear from my back, waited for the right timing and thrusted it right into it the spider. Not leaving my only spear there, I pulled back with all my might and pulling it out.
Ar didn't waste any more time and run to the exit. After a bit of resting and thinking, I came to a conclusion, that I need more spears.
After 5 hours I made twenty wooden spears.
Every time I took five of them and killed as many of these spiders as I could. These spiders weren't hard to pierce through, but trying to kill them at close range is impossible for me. They didn't give me much exp, but after killing thirty of them, I finally reached lvl 10.

==================================
After unlocking my second trait I instinctively knew what it does, and I think I hit gold!
I could basically upgrade anything in my status to a certain degree. By how much exactly?I don't know, but this creates many possibilities. No matter how little the upgrade is, if I upgrade an already good skill let's say ten times, wouldn't it be basically a high grade skill?
Right now I could use it once and it will take another five levels before I can use 'upgrade' again, so I should pick carefully what to upgrade.
So after some thinking I came up with a idea and tried to upgrade 'upgrade', and it surprisingly worked!
==================================
Congratulations for upgrading your trait
[Upgrade] changed into [Upgrading]
-Able to upgrade anything twice. Reusable after every ten levels.
Available uses 2/2
==================================
Jackpot! Not only do I have two uses now, but instead 1/2 uses i still got 2/2!
After thinking how cool his new 'upgrade' trait is he couldn't help, but it's weird. Being so lucky after such a long time of misfortune feels… great.
Not wasting any more time, the second best option looked to be [Continuous body hardening]. After some time I picked it.
==================================
Congratulations for upgrading your trait
[Continuous body hardening] evolved into [Body Improvement]
- your body is continuously improving according to the environment and your needs.

Right now I only have one upgrade left. The ice manipulation skill is good, but it has many disadvantages. There should be better skills to use in the future. The last good think to upgrade would be [Adapt hands], but what I need right now is raw power, so waiting for a better skill should be a good decision.

Ar looked towards the cave and went in. The cave was big and there were hundreds of these overgrown spiders. It took him two days before coming close to the source of the poison air.
In those two days his body slowly adapted to the poison, but he still couldn't get too close to it, so he still didn't know what it was. Another five days went by and Ar killed most of them. While killing them, i managed to stumble on some of the bigger ones. They were pretty hard to kill. It took me more than three spears to kill one one of them, but it was worth it, because they had cores.
Absorbing these cores made Ar able to withstand the poison much easier, so he finally went to find out what is the source of it.
As I was already close enough I came upon a room, where I saw what looked to a mother of these spiders. It was huge, at least five meters high. I silently disappeared from the place as quickly as possible.
I needed to prepare, taking that thing head on is a suicide.
Ar collected all of the spears, made some more and sharpened them again. He found a in the cave that was big enough and stuck thirty spears throughout the cave to ground, forming a circle of spears. Then he sharpened them even more by covering the tips in ice, and even froze the ground to make it slippery, in the circle, made by spears, while also making ice spikes near the spears. After that he also made long and really sharp icicles on the roof. This took Ar half a day and tired him accordingly. While doing this, his control of the energy flow in my body skyrocketed. He played a bit with the fire core that he still carried, and found out, that he has another ace up my sleeve.
Not wasting any more time I picked two spears one in each hand and went towards its nest. I saw the humongous creature and yelled at it while throwing my spears.
It came running towards me much slower then I expected honestly, making me sigh in relief. I was guiding it right into the trap. After finally making it to the spot i picked a spear hit it again before it even arrived, but it's exoskeleton was hard to pierce through.
I was bullying it throwing spear after spear while running around. After you could spot ten spears sticking out from it, it finally slowed down. It's legs were pierced not only by the spears but also by stepping on the ice spikes placed throughout the ground. Now came an important part that I wasn't sure if will work.
I picked the fire core, channeled some energy into it and threw it into the ceiling, making all of the icicles drop at once. It got pierced in most parts of its body, severely weakening it. I continued to throw the reasoning spear and after three minutes the nightmarish spider lost to blood loss.
So finally after repeatedly dodging and throwing everything I could, I finally won. I immediately came to look for my prize. Trying to get the core its body, I finally had it. The energy contained in it was enormous.
******
Right now Ar was slowly absorbing the energy from the core, his veins had a weird color and he looked to be in much pain.
******
I absorbed it after half an hour, feeling the change made me want to look at my skills.
