Now, they didn't know if they would be able to win.

The atmosphere grew heavy with solemnity as leaves continued to fall like rain, suffusing the elves with boundless vitality and giving them the feeling that they were on hardcore drugs.

The energy of their deity, the warmth of the leaves' light, the knowledge that they fought with the Mother Tree's will behind them, it all made them drunk on pleasure.

What, then, would it feel like to quell the Mother Tree's enemies? To avenge their families and remove these scum-covered mushroom monsters from their continent? There was only one conclusion that they could come to.

It would feel wonderful.
