Morne and Essenla marched among a contingent of fifty goblins armed with halberds. Morne wore white armor matching that of the goblin soldiers, but fitted to his larger frame, and on his belt was a goblin halberd.
The armor was light and sturdy, made of the same stuff as the Mycontae's walls, and covered him from the shoulders down. His face was visible underneath the open-faced, bowl-shaped helmet, which lacked the holes in those of their goblin companions' helmets.
Essenla was outfitted differently, having preferred to keep her crimson leather armor, so she had been given a lighter set to put over it.
A set of white pauldrons with an attached gorget added extra protection to her neck and shoulders, her bracers, boots, and greaves were reinforced with plates, and her gloves were backed with mail.
