Chapter 108 - Job's Done

The ground split apart, cracks racing across the soil and revealing a massive web of white spiderweb-like stuff that started spouting sickly yellow spores once exposed.

The elves shouted in surprise and rushed back, leaving their captives in the middle of the village, but they weren't fast enough to avoid the spores. As they breathed them in, their lungs started to burn and their eyes watered.

The peaceful elven village quickly became a nightmare.

In moments, they could hardly breathe, and they collapsed on their knees or sides and grasped at their throats as their minds were filled with panic and fear. None of them were spared.

Throughout it all, Gregen cackled like a madman. Although he could not see what was happening, he could hear the elves' pitiful choking sounds and could smell the spores in the air.
