"Looks like an assassin," the unnamed guard muttered when they entered the room. "And they got Arelda. Damn, she looks better than I thought she would."
"She's dead," Huey said with a scowl.
"And? It's not like I'm going to do anything to her," the first man said defensively.
"What was an assassin doing in your room?" Bobby asked Morne suspiciously.
"Does it matter?" the unnamed guard asked. "She was probably after the emperor, and was no friend of his. Why else would he be covered in sweat?"
"And why isn't he injured?" Bobby asked with narrowed eyes.
"Arelda protected me," Morne told them, casting a sad glance at her. "I tried to help, but they both died before I could."
"So they killed each other," the unnamed guard nodded, satisfied. "That's all I need to hear. C'mon, boys, if we fill the forms out quick, we'll still have some break time to enjoy."
"Wait, what about these holes all over them?" Huey asked.
