Chapter 65 - Death Warrant

Geleb screamed, the horrid sound becoming louder as the vampire twisted the bolt violently with a snarl.

Thinking fast, Morne shoved Geleb off into the vampire and picked up the dropped sword, swinging at her just as she pushed Morne off of her.

"How cute," she smirked as she sidestepped the blade, stepping forward until he could feel the heat radiating off of her skin. With a flick of her wrist, the sword clattered to the ground, and she cupped Morne's face with her hands. "I've conquered men far more experienced than you are, with blades longer than yours.

"One last chance," she whispered, nails digging into his skin and drawing blood, releasing that smell she so dearly desired. "Submit to me, and I shall spare your lives. Or, you can join the others in death. Your choice."

"How about hidden option three?" Geleb spat, propping himself up by the elbows. "We kill you and feed your corpse to the worms."
