Chimh Techniques were something the first book had touched upon.
They could do many things, but most of them only had one function: to expand a Mage's Chimh Well. And while this one could do that as well, it wasn't what had caught Morne's attention.
The technique's name was printed at the top of the page in bold, black letters.
"Accursed Bones."
By absorbing the bones of another creature, the technique's user would receive two benefits. First, their Chimh Well would expand by .5% of the victim's Well.
This wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. The real diamond was that it didn't have a limit. So long as Morne could find bones to absorb, he'd be able to expand his Chimh Well without casting Spells.
The second benefit was that Morne would gain a small percentage of the victim's physical strength, around 1% according to the book. Like the first benefit, this was limited only by the availability of bones.
