She simply couldn't comprehend how this was happening.

How were two humans more trouble than a group full of trained vampire-hunting Practitioners?!

She had been alive for decades, and the human race had proven to be nothing but savages time and time again. Let alone ones that could speak her language, she didn't think she had ever seen one speak at all!

And humans casting Spells was so absurd as to be laughable. The humans she knew were incapable of understanding even the basic principles of magic. It was the largest reason she had only wanted Morne more after he fought back, and was also one of the reasons why she was so pissed off.

He would've been the perfect servant, and yet he dared to defy her? More than that, he was actually succeeding in doing so. The strange one even broke her hold on him.

Unacceptable.

She shoved past the two humans, suffering minor stab wounds from their weapons as she knocked them off their feet, and dashed down the stairs.
