The woman raised a delicate brow as she felt her life force being sapped away. The irony of such a thing was not lost on the vampire; in fact, it amused her.

Her gentle smile turned feral as she retracted her hand, slipping through Morne's grip like water only to hurriedly backstep, a sword narrowly missing her soft stomach.

"Morne!" Exclaimed a shocked Geleb. He couldn't comprehend how anyone could refuse her offer. Attacking her was so far out of the realm of possibilities to him that he could only watch on in dumbfounded silence.

The vampire woman, meanwhile, was ecstatic. As she imagined tormenting Morne, grinding him down into the perfect servant, shattering his will and crushing his spirit, her gorgeous red eyes glimmered with excitement.
