Chapter 140 - All an Act

Morne, Essenla, and Gram jumped in shortly after Morne had sent his undead through, and when they arrived, they took a look around.

"…Fuck me," Essenla said exasperatedly.

Elves. Over a hundred of them.

Each one in brown bark armor that covered them from head to toe. They looked like guardians of the forest sent down from on high, with a vaguely knight-like appearance mixed with that of a tree.

Their helmets wrapped around their entire heads like they had grown around them, making one wonder how they had put them on and planned to take them off, and had the look of a visored barbute with narrow slits for eyes.

The bark plates of their armor were so thick they made the lithe elves look as bulky as Morne in normal clothes, their backs were as straight as rods, and behind their visors were the cold, disciplined stares of trained warriors.
