The elves weren't prepared for an attack from their sides, and jostled with each other as they attempted to bring their long spears around, but many were too slow.
The goblins swooped in with a ferocity borne of desperation and resentment, their halberds chopping into legs and biting at feet. When the elves fell from their new humbling, the goblins finished them off with a swift pierce of their halberds' points.

Morne grabbed the attention of Grensky, who was in the back of the group, and pointed his halberd at the archers and Dryads. "We need to take them out before they do any more damage," he told him.
"You're right, human," Grensky said, glancing over at the long-ranged combatants as his fellow goblins fought with the elves.
