The day ended uneventfully, at least for me I stood on guard in an area people rarely entered.
Walking out I looked at a board, that displayed the
-->Dawn Leviea
-->Leo Silvermoon
--> Silas Westfall
--> Angelica Ven-August
I was proud my sister made it into the Semifinals, but her next opponent would be Silas who won't be an easy opponent, then she'll have to deal with either Leo or Dawn.
'Speak of the devil.' While walking home I saw Dawn talking to a man in a shabby cloak.
"Please leave..." Dawn begged the cloaked man.
"Do you know what I've done for you? Ungrateful bitch!"
The man pulled out a small blade from his cloak and lunged at Dawn's throat with the blade. Dawn began drawing her sword but before she could finish I dashed in front of her catching crushing the man's blade and grabbing his arm with my left hand.
The man looked at my hand covered with a glove in disbelief, "Who the hell are you?!" He shouted.
"It's etiquette to introduce yourself first, bastard."
With a burning glare, I raised my right arm, clenching my fist I drew it backward preparing to flatten this man against the ground, but before I could I felt a soft hand grasp the back of my arm.
"Rei... It's okay let him go."
Dawn gulped after those words, she had been avoiding eye contact with both me and the man and looked toward the ground.
"Please never approach me again, mister... Next time I will not let you go."
After her words I let the man go and he quickly turned to leave.
"Bitch." The man before he walked into an alleyway.
His final words left me dumbfounded, I was about to turn him into a permanent vegetable but he was saved by Dawn... 'He should be grateful Dawn was kind enough to save his ass.'
"Who was that guy?"
"An old acquaintance, once we get home I'll tell you more... It's something I'd rather not share here."

Sitting in front of Dawn at the dining table she spoke with a somber face.
"That man from before was the one who took me in after my parents were murdered... While he didn't really treat me well but he did protect me and gave me a chance at the current life I have now. I really appreciated his past actions..." Dawn lowered her face into her hands and tears came out. "Even after I became known as the Hero I supported him financially, but he won't leave me alone... And I've asked him to not meet me again a few times now, but now he really tried to k-kill me... Even with all we have been through I wouldn't expect that from him, especially because I see him as a father..."
Streams of tears poured down Dawn's face. I stood up taking a few steps closer to her I embraced her with a hug she gratefully accepted the hug and grasped me tight.
"Don't worry about him, these thoughts will hinder your performance tomorrow," I said with a bitter expression.
After standing there for a few minutes embracing her she finally spoke, "Thank you, Rei... I'm glad to have someone like you supporting me."
"Of course, if you ever have any more problems like this I will hug you again."
She stepped back after my words and began walking towards her hall.
"I'm going to take a bath to clear up my mind for tomorrow, goodnight Rei." Dawn still facing her hall.
"Goodnight," I replied.
After standing there for a bit and hearing the bathwater run from Dawn's bathroom a livid expression spread across my face. Truly if I could go back in time I would have crushed that man's heart instead of his wrist when we met, truly scum... Part of me although knew that was wrong, this was Dawn's problem to face and I shouldn't do anything rash.
Conflicting thoughts went through my mind and a black cloak flew out of my sub-space catching it I stared at it, thinking I could leave during the night and murder that man.
Taking a deep breath I put the cloak back into my sub-space and walked towards my own hall, entering the bath I sat relaxing my mind.

Crosseal Day 3
For the semifinals and the finals, Disciplinary Committee was permitted to watch, and we would no longer be working throughout the Crosseal for the rest of the days, we also received a massive payment to the committee's budget meaning we could do a few more things.
I sat in the reserved box alone, every other member decided to sit in the arena near friends or family or just simply to watch it with a better view. The box I was in was high up and had a glass panel in the front to see out of, for others it may not be very enjoyable but with my inhuman eyes, I could see even the facial expression people made from below.
I watched as Silas and my elder sister approached the arena, my sister greeted him with a bow while Silas just gave her a cocky look.
'I'll fucking kill that bastard...' I thought slamming my fist into the chair I was in.
I watched my sister take a deep breath and the announcer signaled for the match to begin. Right as the match began Silas's staff pulsated and a voice filled the entire arena
"Why don't I show you all something good today?"
'Sound magic...'
Right after his announcement magic circles larger than any he's shown previously spread throughout the arena, a purple light filled everyone's sight and then vanished just as it came.
Everyone began looking around in confusion, shrugging and watching the arena.
Angelica didn't lose her guard for a moment she steeled herself and coated herself in a membrane made of purple lightning.
"Everyone look up!" Silas's voice rang out again.
A giant flaming meteor fell from the sky everyone's mouths gaped, and even my sister looked flabbergasted by his show of magic.
'No way...'
Essentially Silas projected his gravity magic into the atmosphere to will a meteor down to this area... This meteor wasn't created with magic it was a real physical one.
'This may, unfortunately, be a repeat of what I saw with Aaron... Getting out on the first day must have been hard on him. Even if she loses miserably to Silas even I would struggle to fight that guy so I won't judge her. Nobody will.'
Angelica got into a stance preparing for the meteor, lightning shot out from her with massive booms with every step she took facing it the jagged aura surrounding her transferred to a sword and she jumped aiming to turn the meteor to smithereens.
Right as she was about to destroy the meteor, the voice of Silas rang out once again. "That's not all you think I had planned? Right?"
The meteor split into thousands of pieces and rained down on Angelica, she jumped and had already prepared to strike a single object she defenselessly got pummeled by the rocks.
And within a minute the match was declared over...
Watching that bastard Silas my eyes filled with bloodlust glared at him, despite me being high in the sky and probably being a spec from his perspective he met my intense glare and smiled.
'...'
*****
Dawn's fight with Leo was very entertaining unlike my sister's fight with Silas which couldn't be considered a fight, Dawn and Leo fought on even ground for the most match the deciding factor was the fact that Dawn had more stamina and raw power pressuring Leo, and eventually, he lost a fair and square match.
Tonight I decided to sleep, it would be the final day of the tournament and I really want to relax before it the house was silent apart from the rare footsteps of Dawn walking around perhaps she was doing extra training I didn't know, I just wanted some sleep.
I soon was absorbed by the comfort of my bed and lost consciousness.

Waking up smiled no strange dreams, no otherworldly meetings just a nice night... The best kind of night indeed. It was officially the final day of the tournament, and I got up and rushed to the bathroom to perform my daily hygienic task, after finishing up there I put on a pair of black pants coupled with black fine shoes and black socks, and my shirt was a fancy white collared button-down with blue and gold designs on it. Straightening my collar in my mirror I then left my room, Dawn seemed to have already left so it was quiet in the house, perfect for my morning.
Crosseal Final Day.
