Zai
Zai appeared before Amri, just as the Master arrived.
"Zai?!" Amri called out, surprised to see her wife floating in midair without her armor.
"Impossible!" the Master cried out, bringing his coffins to bear.
As they scythed towards her, Zai passed between them, a single strike delivered to each with qi at a high enough frequency to pierce through, allowing the physical force of her blows to shatter the macabre devices into pieces.
A blink later, she hovered before the Master and punched him, sending him backward with enough force to take him far from the city.
She could have followed, but instead, she turned to her wife.
The spire had been ruined, its circular structure ruined by fire and carnage. Nothing above the restaurant level remained. Its roof had collapsed in places or been struck from it in others. Xu still fought the Master's Hunters. Rui fought with Makya at her side near the square hole of the elevator shaft.
