They'd booked a ferry for crossing the strait into Prisia, where they would bus over to the capital, which from everything Zai knew about the Continental War was the easternmost city to remain intact.
Austrany had pushed to the edges of it after the Ascendant of Fire supposedly died at the hands of the Ascendant of Water. At least, that was the official story.
