The snow was annoying, but Xu could deal with it.
What she couldn't deal with was a shivering, naked Finn and an unconscious Lieutenant Ke.
She'd been reprimanding them both thoroughly when the car had been flung from the tracks, sliding downhill and into a tree or some such before being buried.
With spirit-sight, the dark wasn't so much a problem for her, but listening to Finn when she was trying to figure out how to escape was breaking her mental flow.
"Ah, but no, Finn, you had to be all clever and use your powers to try and win... Shoulda listened to your guts," he said to himself in Canthic.
"Will you shut up and find your clothes?" Xu shouted.
"Easy for you to say!" He shouted back. "I can't see a bloody thing!"
"Fuck it," Xu said in Avsay, bending her knees and jumping straight up.
