"A duel?" she asked, toggling her speakers off immediately after.
"Yes," the Ascendant of Steel replied enthusiastically. "You and me. Steel against Devilsteel!"
As he went on and on, Zai sighed. Never mind the fact that her foreign codename seemed to be some kind of derivative of his, the man was clearly a romantic idiot.
He complained vociferously about how War had "lost its meaning" in modern times. How individual soldiers didn't matter unless they were "strong like us," making Zai roll her eyes and swear in the privacy of her frame. She didn't want to be lumped in with a soul eater.
"...and that is why, only you are my worthy opponent. Only together can we reclaim what war was... We two warriors, two Knights, fighting not just for our beliefs but for ourselves, to learn once and for all who is the strongest!"
