"Breathe in... hold... let go..." Dr. Amri Jeng spoke calmly and smoothly, sitting cross-legged before her students.
There were only three, and all of them were practicing how to meditate after lunch.
Her first student, the oldest, was a pilot. Captain Cheng Hong. He was certainly the most impatient of Amri's students. Every moment he spent on the ground was one he'd rather be in the air. It had taken him almost an entire year and a half to develop his Riser ability, which aside from a heightened sense of spatial reasoning was an ability to infuse his aircraft like Commander Zai infused her armor, as well as an ability to resist the effects of flying on his body.
