The Trenches, Contested Territory, Aviye
Zai
Zai fired an entire magazine into the frame that charged her, the death of its pilot causing the frame to collapse at her feet.
She cast aside the gun and picked up the fallen frame's gun, just in time to get shot three times from her right side.
Each shot felt no heavier than a light punch through Rabbit, and while Zai had no idea why her frame was holding up so well, she took every advantage she could as she backed away, glancing upwards to find her battery dial at seventeen percent.
She'd added another four kills to her count, and Captain Xu's sniping had taken two.
It was time to go.
Zai looked up at the flag, which was still flying, grinning as she took off at a sprint. Rabbit felt heavier now, and Zai felt both weak and invincible as she crested the lip of the dugout that formed the base at the top of a hill.
