After absorbing numerous cannon shots, the gate to the Grand Hall of the People collapsed into a pile of grey-white stone.
Fang shouted orders into her radio as she called on everyone at the gate to fall back to the raised steps of the Hall.
She had been about to call in the Nightravens to gather at the gate when someone landed on top of the leading frame, crushing downward with a double-handed blow and-
"A fucking bat?!" Fang exclaimed.
