Rui clapped along with what felt like the whole world as Finn's proposal to Rui concluded with Vanya releasing all the qi she had vested into the iced-over arena.
"Not how I thought that would go, but what a show," Quynh clapped next to Rui.
"And how did you think that would go?" Zai asked.
"I expected Finn to hold back," Quynh replied.
"At least when he moves to Siveron we won't have to pick up his cards all over the place," Zai chuckled.
"Finn's what?!" Rui shouted.
Zai and Quynh both turned to her. "Isn't it obvious?" Zai asked. "Vanya's not going to move, she's basically the Amri of Siveron."
Leave it to Zai not to see that Vanya was more like the Zai of Siveron. Good gods, had she not looked at Vanya's war record? It read like a fairy tale with one swing of her arm destroying whole units.
