There was little that Amri wanted to do with the Capital nowadays. Most of the Center's needs were met by Minister Yun. While there was talk of shifting the Center away from Defense, no one had thus far managed to wrest control of the program from Yun's hands.
Because of the one-sided spat that the Minister of Education held for her, Amri had plenty of reason to stay at the Center and do what she did best, which was delving into the lost history of Ascendants on the continent and developing courses.
The actual teaching she could now leave mostly to an increasing body of instructors, coaches, and budding young experts who were making the most of new qi formations and tools that the ancients had never conceived.
