Maya couldn't believe her luck!
The last year had been so chaotic, with all the moving and getting two new moms and a new big sister!
She couldn't wait to have a new little sibling too! While she wanted them to be a sister, her new moms said that everyone would just call the child by their name until they picked what they wanted to be.
That made sense, so Maya tried to remember very hard. She even made a song about it, which was easy because Yue was such a cool name!
But today was the best because this was the day Maya got to have a second birthday!
Rui got to have a birthday too, but because she was older, Maya knew she was going to get socks or something. Everyone at the big school was invited to the cafeteria, and Mr. Chef looked really happy as he made all sorts of goodies for people to eat.
