People's Ascendance Center, Xalam Province, Democratic Union of Aviye
Amri
They called it The Center, and Amri was not sure how she felt about that name.
There was a ranch, just like before, but that was separate from the complex and now served only as a security station for the Center's only road. That nameless road led to a tall, skinny mountain at the edge of the Maobi, or Writing Brush, Range. It was much thicker than many of its peers, and that thickness was used to hide the bunker-like tower that had been carved into it.
Amri was surprised to hear this place had existed for centuries, as a forgotten hideout for royals before Mea's Revolution.
