Quynh
The old doctor showing Quynh around the village was named Dr. Ti Jingyhi. He spoke with a soft but raspy voice. He was balding and wore a lab coat over his civilian clothes, a Northern style shirt and pants, and polished black shoes.
"And lastly, here is where we will perform the surgeries. The equipment may not be the most modern but it's serviceable, and thanks to the new electrical wires, we get power all the way from Escator. As the hub of the program, we will likely get patients from the other villages, so you'll get plenty of practice."
It had taken three weeks to organize a program based on Xu and Quynh's proposal. The military had plenty of doctors for it, but determining what villages would need them required a few small expeditions for those not fortunate enough to have landline connections to a major city.
