As he spoke, he quickly turned the faucet on and placed his hands under the running water. His breath came hot and heavy as he stared down at her, his eyes filled with gleeful anticipation.
"You didn't answer my question," Tristan said with a wicked smile. "Are you ready to fight me? Are you ready to make a puny effort to hurt me?"
"Shut up, you freak!" She spat angrily, glaring at him.
Tristan laughed loudly, shaking his head as he closed the distance between them, stopping only when he was standing directly in front of her.
"No, Lyla. No. I am not shutting up. I am merely waiting for an answer." He grinned as he looked down at her. "But even if you don't want to fight, you don't have much time left."
He smiled, turning his head slightly. "Also, what happened to you calling me darling or master?"
His eyes flashed with amusement as he watched her face contort in anger.
