Seraphina reluctantly followed Lena to the kitchen as Lyla walked beside them.
"How was the plan?" Lyla asked.
Tristan chuckled. "Well, you know how it is."
Lyla let out a sigh, knowing Tristan was right.
'That means we would soon leave this wretched realm,' she thought to herself.
Sitting down at the table, Tristan pulled out a chair for Seraphina, and she sat.
"I hope Master likes this!" Lena said as she handed out plates full of food.
Everyone took a seat. The four of them ate their lunch in relative silence, each lost in their thoughts.
When they had finished their meal, Lena came and stood in front of them again, as if nothing had ever happened.
"Before we get started, I have some important news, and I'd like to speak with you alone," Lena began.
The look on her face told Tristan she was serious.
