"No, master won't be pleased if I act irrationally without his signal!" Lyla snapped at the voice within her. She knew it wasn't her own; she'd been trying to resist the compulsion since the moment she'd received the order.
The thought of killing everyone in this convent made her grin. Her desire to do so grew with every passing second. She could hear the voices of the nuns screaming and begging for mercy, their pleas falling on deaf ears. They were already dead to her; and there would be no need to listen to them when the seal placed on her was broken.
