"Umm, what did you say?" she asked nervously.
Tristan smiled, leaning closer to her ear.
"Tell me," he breathed, kissing the side of her neck softly. "Were you going to compliment my body just before the call?"
The look in her eyes told him all he needed to know.
"No!" She lied, blushing furiously.
"Of course not." He chuckled.
His hand slid around her waist, pulling her close to him.
"That's good. Because you're right. You wouldn't want to hurt your husband's feelings, would you?"
"Stop! Stop this!" She tried pushing against him but found that she couldn't move him an inch.
"What is wrong with you?" She yelled.
"I'm sorry, mother. But you must understand how 'hard' it is for me to think straight."
The sudden change in his tone caused her to gasp. Her heart raced wildly in her chest as he continued speaking.
