Chapter 11 - We have some company, ladies!

'What happened to the point where I get my 'fucking' reward from those hot chicks? What the hell was I expecting from a horny game with the title 'Love Is Dead?!!' he exclaims angrily as he paces back and forth across the room, desperately trying to come up with some sort of plan that would allow him to survive this situation long enough to eventually get laid.

'I'm going to have a great time killing that developer! If I locate you wherever you are, it will not be nice. Take my word for it!' He pledges solemnly under his breath. He then stops pacing and returns his focus to the door.

Tristan took a deep breath and steadied himself as he stood in front of the massive door. He was in a new realm—TEMPEST.

[Enter through the door to start your quest! You can also ignore it for an hour to return to the previous level. Your decision. Best of luck!]

"Gee, thanks! How soothing!" Tristan sarcastically replied to the message before turning to face the door.

He had no idea what was beyond it, but he was certain that if he wanted to advance and finish the game as quickly as possible, he had to open the blasted thing.

[By completing Level 1: Enigma successfully, you have been granted the ability to manipulate elements! You can now command the elements of water, electricity, light, darkness, earth, wind, fire, and ice! Make wise use of them! Wishing you luck! Your starting ability is water, and the following abilities become available as you complete different tasks: Earth (1), Wind (2), Fire (3), Ice (4), Light (5), Darkness (6), and Electricity (7).]

While the knowledge required to use the water manipulation was being uploaded to his memory, Tristan nodded in agreement. He wasn't sure what any of that meant for the new level he was going to encounter, but he was happy to know that it would help him survive longer and perhaps prevent a respawn.

Returning to the door behind him, he then made a turn. 'I suppose I should proceed first,' he said to himself.

Tristan took another step forward and muttered, "let's see what's on the other side."

He could feel the excitement building within him as he reached for the handle. He was eager to find out who or what awaited him on the other side of the door. He felt like an innocent child waiting for Santa on Christmas morning, except instead of toys and cookies, there were storm clouds, uncertainty, and lightning bolts ready to strike down anyone dumb enough to enter the realm unprepared.

Stepping forward, Tristan reaches for the handle. The handle glows brightly and starts spinning as soon as he touches it.

"Oh, shit!" Tristan yells out in surprise, pulling his hand away from the door fast, and watches in astonishment as it continues its gradual circle without pausing, coming to rest ultimately pointed straight forward.

Tristan enters a realm that he has never seen before as he forces open the enormous entrance. In the distance, he can hear the sound of rushing water despite the dense layer of mist in the air. When he turns to look, he notices that he is stationed on a rocky shore with steep cliffs rising on either side of him. He can see waves breaking against rocks in the distance, and the water in front of him has a deep blue color.

[Welcome to Marenostrum Cove! Now that you are unrestricted, you may look around.]

Before returning his gaze to the ocean, Tristan casts a glance back at the door behind him.

Dark gray clouds are swirling and swirling in an unceasing storm in the foreground of the gloomy, menacing sky. The water below is equally turbulent, with enormous waves breaking against the distant rocky cliffs as they rise and decrease in size. The dark clouds are illuminated by the eerie glow of lightning as it flashes in the sky.

He heard rustling sounds behind him as he stood there soaking it all in. When he turned around, he noticed the twins exiting the portal. They appeared to be as bewildered as he was by what they were seeing, which was a big ocean on all sides. Only a little strip of land with another route running along it extending farther inland stood between them and the rushing waters.

They both questioned at the same time, "where are we?"

Tristan looked out across the limitless expanse before them and responded sarcastically, "Where you've never been, I presume. So I think we should begin by locating a secure place to stay."

He then turns to face Lily and Lyla, who were still looking off into space with their mouths open and their eyes wide open.

"That's all for today, ladies. Let's move on!" He spoke firmly but gently to avoid upsetting or upsetting them too much.

He walked down the crooked route that went away from the shoreline, and Lily and Lyla obeyed his command by nodding and following after him.

The two of them were strolling silently through the cove's foggy woodland region while not paying any attention to their surroundings when all of a sudden, the ground beneath them began to quake violently. Lily and Lyla stumbled and clung to Tristan for support as they observed that the shaking was intensifying.

Tristan's enthusiasm radiated from his realization that something was coming up from the depths. When he first began playing the game, he had been anticipating this moment—the rush of a kill—and was prepared to face whatever thing would surface from the waters.

He grinned from ear to ear, "finally, something exciting!" Lily and Lyla were by his side, keeping a watchful eye on the danger that was drawing closer as he twitched his fingers in anticipation.

A mischievous grin started to spread across his face as he turned to face them. He remarked, his eyes beaming with delight, "Looks like we've gotten ourselves a little company."
