We are going to the back of the property, past the pack house, to a lovely cottage next to a pond and surrounded by trees. It has such a refined appearance that it resembles a vintage cottage in Europe. The smell is the first thing I notice when I enter the cottage. It has a scent of wood and pine. I love how it smells like Damien. I smile and kiss Damien as he carries me along the threshold with one hand on my back and the other under my knees and grabs my elbow. He smiles through the kiss, then gently places me on the bed in what I assume will be our bedroom and walks down the hall. He moves back far enough to take off his shirt before returning to kissing me. He gently lies on both my side and half of me. Sparks are strewn all over by his hands as they gently explore my body. It is so satisfying. I get a strange sensation between my legs. I don't want it to end, but I don't know what this means. Damien starts sucking on my marking spot as he moves from my lips to my jaw down to my neck, sending sparks all the way through my core. I murmured softly. "You are beautiful, and I can't wait to mark and mate you," Damien says to me as he pauses and smiles at me. I have no idea what to say or do. This scares me because I never imagined I would find a partner. What if I don't live up to my potential, and what if he leaves me?' Hey, it's okay, love; we can wait until you're ready. I'm so close to being released that I think Damien knows, and he starts moving faster and faster. He then begins to kiss me and moves straight to my soft spot, first on my neck and then my jaw. I continue to sense a subsequent release, but before I can react, I experience a sharp pain that quickly transforms into the most intense pleasure of my life. Oh Damien, I screamed and moaned. After seeing stars, Damien also breaks free. Laney, oh my gosh! When we both finished, I felt Damien lick my neck where he had bit. I heard my mother exclaim, "Wake-up darling," in a flashback, "Happy 16th Birthday, my beautiful baby girl." my father lifting me up by tapping on my arm. I need to go to sleep, please, dad and mom. With a grin on my face, I turned to face them. I hear my mother say, "Honey, it's your 16th birthday," as she brushes my hair back. Would you not like to meet your wolf? I smile back at her and say, "of course, but I won't meet her until tonight, and it is." As I lean forward to check my alarm, I see that it is 7 a.m. and that I need to get ready for school.
"Oh no, I need to get ready; I'm going to be late, and Casey said she would pick me up in her brand-new car that her parents bought her," I said. When I scramble away from my parents, my mother turns and begins to walk out with my dad. She turns, smiles at me, and then tells me, "breakfast, will be in 20 minutes so hurry dear." My smile returns. OK mother."
I proceed to enter the shower. Once finished, I envelop myself by my towel and gaze at myself in my slight haze reflect. I look and feel exactly the same as I did before. Some people say they can feel the shift the morning of their 16th birthday, but I can't, which makes me a little worried. Perhaps I belong to the group that will know at midnight. I hope so.
I head down the stairs and smile as I enter the kitchen/dining room. As my mother sets the substantial plate of bacon and french toast on the table, I see my dad sipping his favorite cup of coffee and gazing lovingly at my mother. My folks are very cutesy, yet just in the protection of their own home. They believe in going to public appearances to maintain their strength as Alpha warriors. That's fine with me. I comprehend and hope to make them proud one day.
I sit down at the table, smile, and begin to eat. "How are you feeling, do you feel any different?" he asks. my father inquires. " I can't wait to go to bed tonight because I feel a little different. I said, "Okay well it is time for me to go, love you both, and I will see you tonight," and then I heard a faint honk and realized it was my dearest and best friend Casey. Mother hollers after me "Don't be late."
Casey looks so happy in her new car as I dash out the door. She celebrated her 17th birthday two days ago and will marry next year. She is getting out early. and going to a city-based fashion school, I will miss her. Therefore, we value our time together. OH MY GOD!" "I know, right, my dad was very nice and bought me this adorable jeep." I love the color, you look great in it. I smiled as I said it to her.
"Lets get to school."
The school day went quickly, and several friends and teachers wished a few students happy birthdays. Casey and I went out to her Jeep after I met her. Before we can change, we have to stop at my house. I informed her. Okay, I brought my belongings with me, and I went to the mall yesterday to buy you the perfect present. You can see it when we get to your house. You are aware that doing so is not required. I informed her that I wasn't expecting any gifts.
I noticed that my parents were not home as we parked in front of my house. When we enter, I notice a note that reads, "Hey Sweetie, We have gone ahead to the packhouse, we will see you tonight" written on the refrigerator door in the kitchen. Love your mom and dad. Dear, please don't be late. After leaving the note on the fridge with a smile, I went up to my room, where Casey was waiting with my present. Since mom and dad have already left for the packing house, I suppose we only need to get ready. Okay, so open this up. When I take the box from her, I discover a gorgeous pink dress that was loose, long, and flowing. Easy to shift before taking off. I adore it, Casey! It's beautiful! She gives me a hug and smiles. Okay, let's get your hair and makeup done, then get dressed up so we can leave on time. After a good laugh, we got ready.
We made our way to the jeep and began our ascent toward the packing house. I began to freakout a piece since I actually didn't feel any not the same as in the past. I started to worry that I might not be able to shift at all, that my wolf might be weak, and that my parents would be embarrassed. When we arrived at the packing house, there were decorations and balloons everywhere. I was scared when we went inside and were greeted with a huge "SURPRISE," but I smiled and found my parents and gave them a big hug. Alpha Michael, Luna Angie, and the future Alpha Damien were smiling off to the side, and I noticed them. They all wished me a happy birthday, but Damien appeared tense and left instead of staying. I'm not sure what took place. It caused me some concern. I started getting a little more anxious as the time came for me to shift; I must inform my parents because I am not even remotely sensing my wolf.
They were near the buffet table, so I started walking toward them. I need to talk to both of you, Mom and Dad. My mother replied, "Okay, dear, but hold on, it's time." She takes me to the back of the packhouse, where we are alone outside with my parents, Luna, and the Alpha. I didn't feel anything when I looked up and saw the full moon. Alpha Michael took a whiff of the air and looked wide-eyed at me. My eyes began to tear up as he displayed a grave, menacing expression. You do not possess a wolf." I was looked at shamefully by Luna and my parents. Being wolfless seems to be weak, and Alpha Michael doesn't like weakness in his pack. It also sounds like a human. He grabbed my arm and yelled at my parents as I stepped back as he approached me. Your daughter does not have wolves, so she will not join my pack. He then, at that point, tosses me down and I simply begin crying on the ground. " I'm so sorry, Mom and Dad, and "You are not my daughter," My father slaps me in rage, and he does so until Damien comes forward, growls, and pushes my father back. Do you understand that you won't touch her again?" He spoke with the alpha voice of his future. She is expelled from this pack because she lacks wolves, son. "Let's discuss this inside, Laney go home," Damien says as he looks back at me and his father. I did as he instructed and ran home immediately. I cried myself to sleep and immediately went to my room.
