As Philip glanced around the room, he wondered, "Can you see their levels?"
Doug scoffed and retorted, "Of course not. Do you take me for a dog that sniffs out the level of others?"
After a brief pause, Doug continued, "However, you can use that strange ability of yours to gauge them. Seriously, why can't I use your powers? Can't you tell me about it now? I'll share how I acquired the pact distorter."
Philip rolled his eyes internally. In fact, he had tried it before and told Doug about his identity as a soulless player.
However, the system's power to conceal the game from others was formidable. The moment he spoke about it, Doug stood there, seemingly oblivious to his words. It was as though Philip hadn't said anything, and Doug hadn't heard a thing.
As for the Pact Distorter, Philip had been curious but didn't press Doug further on the matter. It was clear that it held great significance for him, so Philip respected his privacy for now.
