As Philip continued to impersonate Conrad, he discreetly studied the teenager. He couldn't help but wonder why someone of such a young age was attending an event like this. Aven's presence piqued his curiosity and apprehension.
"So, you're the owner of the famous and expensive Alma Inn! Are you here to bid on the adjacent buildings? Don't tell me you're planning an expansion?" Aven inquired with a seemingly genuine interest in his tone.
Philip observed Aven closely but didn't reveal his suspicions. Instead, he replied, "Yes, it was my father's dream, and it has become mine as well, to make the inn larger and establish it as a renowned hotel."
