Kiara's anger had reached its peak, causing her to stop the car abruptly in the middle of the road.
She began to scream at the top of her lungs, her frustration bubbling over.
Feeling the need to release her pent-up anger, she stepped out of the car and started hitting it with all her might.
As she continued to strike the car, she yelled out, "Who does my mother think she is? Why can't she understand that I have no interest in getting married?"
Her voice was filled with a mixture of fury and despair, her emotions running high.
Her actions and words made it clear that she was not ready to compromise on her stance, no matter what her mother thought.
The bartender who closed from work and was going home was also using the route Kiara used and end up running into her.
luckily enough, upon reaching that side of the road, he saw someone who looked familiar then within a few minutes, he was able to recognize who it was.
he wondered what she was doing there at that time and it was already late in the evening.
At first, he didn't want to approach her but another part of him told him to go check up on her so he place his pride aside and walked up to her.
Kiara who is leaning on the car with her eyes closed didn't approach her.
He tapped Kiara gently and Kiara quickly turned and saw him standing in front of her.
The bar attendant saw tears rolling down her cheeks and he became amazed the moment he saw those tears.
he didn't believe this arrogant lady knows how to shed tears. he wanted to laugh but he couldn't and he didn't know why.
Kiara ignored him and kept sobbing feeling frustrated all over.
The bar attendant didn't know how come he moved close to her and pulled Kiara into his arms and hugged her and also offered Kiara his shoulders to cry on.
he was surprised at his actions but didn't say anything about it.
Thinking Kiara will push him away but she didn't either but rather cried out loudly making the bar attendant feel uncomfortable.
"Cry as much as you want. you will feel better" he said and started rubbing Kiara's back with his hand trying to console her but Kiara kept crying more.
"Why is this happening to me.. why me of all people why me?"
Kiara said and the bar attendant didn't know what she was talking about so he stood there quietly and listened to Kiara...
"I wish I could just leave this place and go into another world and have the peace I'd been longing for"
she added and cried "it's okay. it's normal to cry and pour your heart out whenever you ain't able to handle the situation at hand..."
he said trying to console her... The place suddenly became quiet the moment Kiara stopped crying then he offered Kiara his handkerchief to clean her tears but she refused it and wiped her tears with her hand
"Thanks for offering me your shoulder. this shouldn't have happened though"
Kiara said and turned her back towards him "That doesn't mean I wouldn't take my revenge on you"
she added "geez really?... okay then since you're okay now I should be on my way home"
he said and turned also "Don't overstress yourself because you won't get me with whatever you're planning on"
he added also and left Kiara in the middle of the road. Kiara wanted to say something to him but her ego didn't allow her to do so.
"God, what just happened?" Kiara asked herself and took in a deep breath and entered her car and head back home.
she walked slowly inside her room then Erica who came out of the bathroom after having her shower saw her "Kiara are you okay?"
she quickly went close to her and check her all over "yes am fine" she said and sat on the bed "are you sure you are fine?"
Erica asked again when she noticed her eyes were swollen "you've been crying"
she said and sat close to her and turned her face towards hers "No"
Kiara lied and took her eyes off her "stop lying baby girl... your eyes are swollen and it says it all so stop lying to me and tell me"
"I'm okay so don't worry about me, okay I'm fine" Kiara replied and forced a smile on her face and entered the washroom to wash down also.
she stayed under the shower and started thinking about what just happened between her and that bartender
she wonder why she didn't reject him the moment he pulled her into his arms.
She felt comfortable and warm and she never thought he could be this warm and comfortable too.
she pushed those thoughts aside and told herself it was just an incident nothing else...
