Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Everybody Else’s System

Cole remained unconscious for a whole day long, and the next morning when he woke up, he found himself in a room unfamiliar to him.

He saw a white ceiling above him and the room had the smell of hospital. Wait what is going on? Why does the room smell like a hospital?

"Ooh! He is awake, he is awake" Suddenly he heard the voice of his twin sister, and as he turned his head he saw his family, precisely, his mother, father, and sister, the other two weren't there, and they had worried expirations on their faces.

"What happened? "He asked, "Why am I in the hospital?"

"We found you unconscious in your room yesterday "his mother Claire Blackstone replied, her eyes filled with tears, as she couldn't help but remember what he looked like when she first found him, his body was raining sweat, and his head heat was so high you could fry an egg in it.

After they brought him to the hospital, the doctors couldn't tell the reason for this strange phenomenon. But after a while, his body cooled down and returned to its original temperature.

Now that he was awake her worries were lessened, she called the doctor, and as he checked and found nothing with him he discharged them, and they returned home.

It has been another day since Cole had returned from the hospital, after they came back they stayed together, talked, and eat breakfast, and the rest of the time he was resting in his room, he didn't go to school.

Now he was sitting in his bed really bored when suddenly he heard a familiar dining noise.

He heard a female voice in his head, startled, he turned around but couldn't see anyone.

"Who is it? "He said with a panicked tone.

[I'm the ] replied the voice.

Hearing what the voice said, he was confused, although he was a smart kid, way smarter than the kids his age should be, what does she mean by system? Is she, not a person? Then how come she is talking? His head was filled with questions.

And to his surprise, the so-called 'system' actually answered his thoughts.

[{Evaluations} have ranks depending on the value of whatever you took from the system, and they are as follows Each {Evaluation} is worth ten times the one before it. ]

[After the {Evaluation} reach the same value as the {Evaluation} of Value of whatever you took from the system, you will receive a card equal to the rank of {Evaluation} and you can use it to get whatever you want from the system, as long as it doesn't exceed the value Rank.]

[Note: when you take from the system for it's completely free, but you cannot take anything until you reach {Evaluation} to the same rank as the {Evaluation} of what you took, also whatever you do with what you took for cannot be beneficial to you in any direct way .]

'Arghhh my head hurts, that's too much information 'Cole was holding his head with his hand, that is just too much information, after that he said {Interface} as the system instructed.
