Isabella wished she was an ice that could melt immediately. The presence of the family members scared her. She was embarrassed yet Nicholas did not show any sign of concern. He was still holding tight to her.
"Please, do not embarrassed yourself more," Mrs. Genovese said, facing the wall. She did not want to witness such a scene. What was more embarrassing was the fact that Nicholas still carry her in his arms. He did not care that his family was here.
"I'm not surprised at all," Miss Theresa added. She was furious and the only reason, she could not slap the new caretaker was because she was in Don Nicholas' arms.
