As they emerged from the base, Jack and his team were exhausted, their bodies battered and bruised from the fierce battle they had just fought. But despite their injuries, they were triumphant. They had saved the galaxy from the threat of the super mechs and the Cult of the Void, and had proven themselves to be the greatest heroes the galaxy had ever known. With their mission complete, they set off once again into the void, ready for whatever new challenges lay ahead.
But as they journeyed through the darkness of space, Jack couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss. He couldn't explain it, but he felt as though they were being watched, that there was something out there, waiting for them.
It wasn't long before his suspicions were confirmed. Without warning, they were ambushed by a group of rogue super mechs, their weapons blazing with deadly precision. The team fought back with all their might, but it soon became clear that they were outmatched.
