As the bus continued on its journey, Astrid couldn't help but feel a sense of disgust nagging at the back of her mind. She knew that she was using Dante for her own purposes, and she didn't feel bad about it. After all, she had a mission to complete, and getting back to Asgard was her top priority, and he was just a lowly mortal. But at the same time, she couldn't shake the feeling of guilt that she was taking advantage of Dante's kindness.
As they chatted, Astrid found herself subconsciously steering the conversation towards her own needs and wants. She asked Dante about his knowledge of the city and its surrounding areas, trying to gather any information that might be useful in her quest. She also made sure to remind him of her mission and the importance of retrieving her sword.
Dante didn't seem to mind, though. He seemed genuinely interested in Astrid's story, and he was happy to help her in any way he could. Astrid couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt at his selflessness, but she pushed it aside, telling herself that she had no other choice.
As the bus pulled up to their stop, Astrid gathered her belongings and prepared to disembark, trying to ignore the disgust that still gnawed at her conscience. She knew that she was using Dante, but she couldn't let that stop her from completing her mission. As they stepped off the bus and onto the bustling city streets, Astrid then asked, "Which way to your mansion, Dante?"
Dante replied, "Mansion?!, I don't live in no mansion."
Astrid frowned in disappointment, realizing that Dante might not be able to provide the resources she needed to complete her mission. "Oh, I see," she said, trying to hide her disappointment.
Dante suggested, "On my way to my house, there is a police station we can stop at and see if we can find your parents."
Excitedly, Astrid responded, "Do they have a Bifrost gate?"
Dante looked at her quizzically. "No Bifrost gate, but the police station might have information about missing persons, and they could help us locate your parents."
Astrid's face fell. "My parents are not missing," she said loudly.
"I remember they are in Asgard," Dante responded.
They entered the police station, and Dante went to the police officer and explained the situation quietly. "I found this girl in the forest near the blue mountains. She seems like she has amnesia and maybe a bit delirious. She thinks she is the goddess and princess of Asgard."
The police officer took a look at her and was concerned with her strange getup. "Little lady, can you tell me your name and where you're from?"
Astrid straightened up and place ball up fist across her metal Armour , feeling a sense of pride as she responded. "I am Astrid Ottison, daughter of Odin and Figga and the goddess of war and thunder. I come from Asgard, realm of the Aseir gods."
The police officer looked at her skeptically, but Dante spoke up, trying to smooth things over. "She's had a rough day, officer. We just need your help in finding her parents," Astrid began growling in the background.
Dante quickly corrected himself, "Getting her the help she needs to get back home." Astrid's growl lowered in the background, and she turned her head to the side, crossed her arms, and closed her eyes.
The officer nodded and began typing away at his computer. After a few minutes, he turned back to them. "I don't see any missing persons reports that match her description, but I can take down her information and keep an eye out for any leads.
