The next day Ling Yao woke up around 6:34am as she was already used to waking up early for school and work at the same time.
Even though she knew she couldn't be queried if she was late, she was still disciplined and organized. She does everything at the right time and in the right way.
She went into the bathroom to brush her teeth before going to cook for everyone. She planed to cook before everyone would wake up and sees her dirty, she didn't want 7 handsome celebrities who happen to be her favorite celebrities to see her looking like sh!t in the morning.
She made Kimchi Brown Rice Breakfast for the other members and made toast with hot coffee for herself.
After she finished her breakfast she checked on the food she was making and "done" it's ready.
"Good morning" while she was still packing the food to keep in the refrigerator Myung walked up to her and tried to talk to her but before he could see her face, she left the kitchen. He didn't see her face as it was a bit dark in the kitchen. Lucky her.
Immediately she reached the bathroom she went over to the mirror to look at herself. She was flushed and there was a smile on her face. She hasn't felt this embarrassed in years, it's was like her body was void of any form of emotion.
Even when she smiled it never reached her eyes and neither does her smile hold any emotion.
It was rare to see her smile talk less of being flushed.
Even if she was naked and someone complements her beauty she still wouldn't feel anything.
She is cold but has a sweet heart far away from ones reach, she might find someone who would be able to capture her heart but he would have to make a lot of sacrifices.
If she finds him or if he finds her she'd just demand for his love,trust, loyalty and time. It may sound easy to give but when it was time to give it, it gets very hard and that's why Ling Yao believed no one would be able to capture her heart. But so far after many years someone made her cheeks flush but she was only embarrassed and that's all.
When she was done checking her face in the mirror, she went under the shower to have her bath. She wanted to have a hot bath because it's been long since she had one.
She let down her hair and let her towel slide down her body before going under the shower.
Just as the water touched her skin she relaxed. Her always on guard body relaxed, letting go of all the tension she had built up over the years.
She felt as if where she was presently was just awesome. The water danced along her body from her long silky hair to her milky skin.
She allowed the water caress her skin and she enjoyed every bit of it until some images flashed in her mind and now her always on guard attitude was back. She was back to her cold and vigilant self.
After having her bath her clothes were already in the bathroom and all she had to do was dry her body and then wear her clothes. She wore a pleated mini skirt and a brown oversized hoodie with a pair of black socks and white sneakers to match her bag pack. On her way out, she saw the seven members eating and she told them about her plans for the day and after saying their goodbyes she left for school.
That day Ling Yao drove herself to school and on her way there something unusual happened. She saw someone, a man to be precise with golden eyes and half of his face was covered.
She stopped the car to take a look at the man but as she was about to get down to take a look at the man he disappeared suddenly.
She would have asked if anyone saw him but it seemed like she was the only one who saw him.
He wore a black hanfu with a golden dragon imprint on it. Half of his face was covered with a black mask and he was holding a sword.
She didn't panic because she knew he was from the immortal realm but people from the immortal realm didn't have golden eyes except for the demon king's son.
Ling Yao then thought that maybe he came looking her. "But he has never seen me so how did he know that I am the last guardian".
After thinking for a while Ling Yao thought maybe he wasn't the one and that maybe his eyes weren't golden and she had just imagined it.
Ling Yao got to school and was taken to her own class based on her age and there she met the guy from the previous day.
While she was busy giving him cold killer looks. Everyone was talking about the new girl.
Some called her pretty and cute while the jealous ones just scoffed and eyed her.
Ling Yao didn't care and was about to take a seat when someone dragged her and made her sit beside him. It was the same donkey from yesterday, he just dragged her with her bag and made her sit on the chair beside him.
"You were about to seat on someone else's chair. This seat is empty. You can have it".
She didn't protest against it because that was the only empty spot in class but she wondered why he wanted her to sit beside him.
They had English lessons that day and Ling Yao wondered why they were giving them English lessons in college and she got her answers when she heard the students speak English.
Most of them had very poor accents and their tenses were not well constructed. Sometimes the students uses past tense when saying something they'd do in the future. This made Ling Yao wonder how it sounded in their heads when they talk and couldn't help her laughter.
Miss Yang taught the whole class English and then she called someone named Xu Si Cheng and this made Ling Yao wonder who it was then she saw the donkey from yesterday had stood up to answer the teacher.
She looked at him as he answered her and for a minute she was lost in his eyes but then she heard the teacher say he'd be responsible for Ling Yao and Ling Yao was shocked but still maintained a calm look because she couldn't oppose this since he was the only one she knew so far.
After the classes were over it was time for dance class and Ling Yao wasn't sure she'd fit in but she didn't care not until she heard she'd be paired with a male partner.
She wondered who her partner would be but she wasn't scared at all but for some reason the girls looked like they were anxious. "These girls are anxious to see who would be paired with the great Xu Si Cheng, every female student is desperate to be with him" Han Li said to Ling Yao in a quiet voice.
Ling Yao tried to remember where she had heard that name from then Fu pei interrupted her thinking. "Don't tell me you've never heard the name Xu Si Cheng, he's the most handsome lad in this institution, the same guy that dragged you to sit beside him". It's Mr Donkey?, just wow.
She rolled her eyes at the sight of the girls drooling over Cheng like fools and the only thing he did was walk into the dance studio. Stupid girls ugh!!
But she couldn't blame them because he truly is mesmerizing and hot.
"Now it was time for the pairing of students as Dance partners" Mr Gu announced excitingly and Han Li and Fu pei were paired together and that's because they were a couple. Of course Mr Gu wouldn't want to separate a couple, and they had a lovely chemistry.
Just as Ling Yao looked at her left, she saw a girl giving her deadly glares that didn't move Ling Yao a bit.
She knew why she was giving her those glares. She could easily tell with the girls all buzzing around her and the boys carrying her stuff for her and with all the make up that she had on, she was the special girl everyone thought was the perfect match for the school's most handsome and coolest lad.
This made her feel like she was in high school because it's mostly in high school things like these happen. But looking at the girl, Ling Yao scoffed and looked at the teacher when she heard her name, she was waiting for the teacher to say her partner's name and then it came.
"Ling Yao will be paired with Xu si Cheng" and there it was.
"…Fuck" Ling Yao exclaimed angrily.
