"We need backup! Hurry!"
The guards voiced as they ran up the stairs with rifles and other weapons with them.
Baam!
A guard broke down the door to the main office only to meet piles of dead bodies scattered on the ground.
"What in God's name happened here?" The officer said as he walked inside the room.
He went over to the dead body closest to him and went to his knees so he could examine it.
Disgust was written all over his face when he pictured how painful the death must have been for thier body to end up the way they did.
The officer noticed that the inside of the body had been torn apart from the inside out, leaving both intestines and guts exposed.
He stood up from the ground after he had crammed his curiosity with enough observation before he gave out an order.
"Search the entire building, there must still be some people alive for us to get a distress signal, move out!".
"Right away sir!" They all responded in unison.
The officers began breaking down doors, penetrating each room only to meet a a mound of dead bodies waiting for them.
About three officers made their way to the research lab. The sound of the alarm ringing over and over didn't help with the situation that we were in.
Once they got to the door, the officer at the left used his feet to slam the door right off its edges.
But before anyone could even think of moving, a huge hand grabbed the officer's head and squashed it like melons.
The remaining two officers instantly moved back and aimed their guns at the huge monster in front of them.
This particular monster was not black but white with one long horn sticking out from its forehead.
"Sir, do you copy? We have come in contact with the monster, requesting backup at room C-15 immediately." One of the officers spoke to the radio at the side of his collar.
[Backup will be sent, but whatever you do, do not provoke it, do you understand?]
"Understood." The officer responded, cutting the transmission before he slowly began to step back.
The other officer was confused but he did the same thing since that felt safer than standing in front of the oversized monster.
"Rick? What did the sergeant say? Is he sending backup or what?" The officer asked while taking slow steps away from the monster.
The monster didn't move from the entrance of the surgery room, it only focused its sight on the officers but it didn't make any sign of attack.
"Yes," Rick responded, "But we still have to keep whatever this thing is occupied so it doesn't leave this place".
"It doesn't look like it's going to attack, I can't be the only one thinking it's guarding something, right?".
"Just stay focused, the report said these things are deadly fas….".
Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!
A tiny voice echoed from behind the officers, Rick didn't squander any time, he hurriedly turned and aimed his gun.
He was dead surprised when he saw a short human-like figure, with two scissors in its hand, standing hunched in the far distance.
It had a creepy smile and two red glowing eyes while its entire body was covered in gooey green slime.
"What the fuck…" Rick muttered in shock, watching as the monster slowly approached their position.
"Rick! What's wrong?!" Rick's partner exclaimed, but he was still focused on the monster guarding the surgery room.
"Don't panic, okay, but we have one more bastard here, a little more on the small side," Rick answered back with his gun still aimed at the slime monster.
"Are you kidding me?" The officer yelled, before sighing, "Well, At least now we know it's only three remaining".
Boom!
All of a sudden, the wall beside them imploded with multiple red-looking tentacles coming out of them.
Rick moved away to the other side and geared toward his gun at the hole. He could also hear the hissing sound of the monster coming from there.
"Hey, don't panic but".
"That was the third one." The officer uttered before Rick could finish talking, "Just one more remaining, today isn't our lucky day".
Rick smirked, "This isn't a bad way to go if you think about it." He uttered, shaking in fear but still holding his gun up.
Just when they thought things couldn't get any worse, another monster showed up, but unlike the rest, it wasn't as intimidating.
It hopped on the ground after sauntering down from the hall and heading straight toward the surgery room.
It was like a tiny dark blue blob with a body texture fitting that of outer space when one looks at it.
Rick stared at it for a while before moving his gun back and forth at all the monsters as they slowly began to move closer to him.
"Shit! They're not stopping!" Rick yelled as he began to fire his gun aimlessly at the monsters.
Meanwhile…..
The man landed on the ground, right at the back of the building while wearing a surgery gown barefooted.
He began walking down the alley, panting heavily as he used the wall for support in order not to fall.
When the man walked past a broken mirror that was in the dumpster, he immediately went back to take a look at his face.
His own reflection in the mirror frightened him a bit. His eyes were glowing red and veins were popped on his face all the way to his chest.
"What – Did they do to me?" The man muttered to himself before hitting the ground and falling unconscious.
After a few minutes, soldiers and policemen began to swarm the place, they brought coppers, army trucks, and even a tanker to secure the area as tightly as they could.
But when they got inside the building, they didn't find a single monster, all they saw were mutilated people inside every room they entered.
The government put forward an immediate alarm, warning the people about the hazard but not in too much detail.
The search for the monsters began, right in the city of Tokyo, where every base in the city was on high alert after watching the security tapes of how murderous the creatures were.
Although this information was not broadcasted to the public, the government already placed a bounty of over 500,000 million price worth to whoever could find the 4 monsters, named the Xynoins.
