The two of us went on a date, navigating the busy streets of Tokyo together. Remilia's eyes sparkled with curiosity and wonder as she observed the various shops and people around us.
"Shun, look!" she exclaimed, tugging at my sleeve.
I followed her gaze to a clothing store. "Oh? Are you interested in that dress?"
"Yeah," she said, her enthusiasm contagious. "It's quite elegant."
Examinining the dress she pointed to a white frilled dress with a pleated ruffle skirt.
"Milady, do you want to become an idol?"
"Eh? What is an idol?!"
I chuckled, realizing her unfamiliarity with the concept. "I thought so..."
But then, I couldn't help but imagine Lady Remilia in a white frilled dress. She would indeed look like an idol, radiating grace and beauty.
Crap...It's cute.
"Then shall we buy it?" I asked.
"Really? Are you sure?" Remilia inquired, her eyes filled with excitement.
Milady... You'll give me a heart attack for sure.
"Yes, after all, it will look good on you," I assured her with a smile.
"Fufu~ I see... Then let's go," she agreed.
I nodded, holding her hand as we entered the shop. A salesperson approached us.
"That'll be 25,000 yen, sir," the register informed me.
Uwah... So expensive.
I handed them the money from the case we'd taken from Rita's house.
"Sorry for the wait~" Remilia walked toward me, and as my eyes fell upon her, I couldn't help but be taken aback.
My eyes widened, and my jaw slightly dropped. "Cute," I finally managed to say, admiring how the elegant dress complimented her, making her look even more enchanting.
"How do I look, Shun?" Lady Remilia asked, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
"You look great, Milady."
"Fufu~ Thank you~"
With a smile, we walked hand in hand, making our way to the side of the road.
That guy looks very familiar. The shop clerk muttered.
"What's next, Shun?"
I glanced up, considering our options. "How about watching a movie?"
"Movie? What's that?"
"Hehe, you'll see."
As we approached the theater, I bought two tickets for the upcoming showings.
"Hmm... Lady Remilia, would you prefer a Romance or an Action film?"
Remilia glanced at the movie posters with a somewhat bored expression.
"Eh? Milady, are none of these to your liking?"
"It's not that... But rather than that..." she trailed off, pointing at a gruesome horror film poster.
I was taken aback by her choice. "Eh? Milady, are you sure about that one?" I asked with concern in my voice.
"Absolutely. It looks quite interesting, after all," she replied with a mischievous grin.
I hesitated for a moment, then relented, "F-Fine."
Anything for Milady.
We made our way into the theater just in time for the show to begin. I guided Lady Remilia to seats in the back, and we settled in to watch the movie.
The film we chose was "30 Days At Night." It had a gripping plot set in the small, isolated town of Barrow, Alaska, where a natural phenomenon known as "polar night" caused the sun to set and not rise for 30 days, plunging the town into darkness.
During this period, a group of vampires, led by the brutal Marlow, descended upon the town to feed on its inhabitants.
As the vampires systematically cut off communication and escape routes, the town's sheriff, Eben, his estranged wife, Stella, and a small group of survivors had to band together to fend off the vampire horde and survive the 30 days of darkness.
Throughout the movie, I couldn't help but notice Lady Remilia's reactions. Her enjoyment was clear, but there was also a hint of irritation at certain moments.
It was a delight to witness her various emotions as the story unfolded on the screen.
An hour later, the movie had finally ended, and we walked out of the theater.
"Ahahaha~ That was quite a show," Remilia said as she stretched her arms in the air.
"Indeed, Milady," I smiled.
I'm not scared actually, I only went to the toilet every time the scene started to get gory.
She turned to me, her crimson eyes sparkling. "Say, Shun, I'm feeling rather peckish right now. How about you start cooking something for me?"
"Eh? We could simply go to a restaurant."
"You can't cook?" Remilia sighed, "If it were Sakuya, she could have a meal ready here in just three seconds."
Of course, Sakuya's time-stopping ability made it possible.
M-Milady, let's go. I assure you that you'll enjoy the food here."
"Fine, but don't disappoint me, or I might have to eat you instead~"
And so, we made our way to a fancy restaurant, not too far since Tokyo is quite a massive city. The place was adorned with jazz music and an elegant interior, exactly the kind of establishment that would satisfy Milady.
A well-dressed waiter approached us as we entered. "Hello, ma'am, sir. Table for two?"
"Yes."
"Very well, please follow me," he said, leading us to a table.
"What will you two have?" he inquired, ready to take our orders.
Already asking!? Can't you just let us sit down first?!
Milady had already started ordering quite a bit. "I'll have this, this, this, and this."
Milady! That's quite a lot!?
"Understood," the waiter jotted it all down. Then, he turned to me. "And for you, sir?"
I stammered a bit, "E-Errm, I'll have a cheesesteak! Yeah!"
"As you wish, please wait here," he said, finishing the order and then heading to the kitchen.
We settled into our chairs.
"I take everything back, Shun. This place is the best."
"M-Milady... Are you sure you can eat all those dishes you ordered?"
"Hm? I only ordered mine, though?"
"Then, can you explain the foods that you just ordered?"
"Hm?" She looked at me with confusion, but then her eyes widened. "Ahh~ Those..." Remilia sighed and snapped her fingers.
Suddenly, a small gap portal opened - a very small one.
"Is it done?" Yukari peered through the portal.
"So, it was you two, huh..."
"Hello there, Shun," Okina also appeared.
"Lady Okina!?"
"Anyway, you two still have six days. And vampire, don't forget the meal," Yukari said, just before closing the gap portal completely.
No wonder...
A few minutes of waiting passed, and the waiter arrived with a cart that had an astonishing number of plates. To my surprise, the amount of food we received was enormous.
"Here are your orders," he said as he placed the dishes on the table.
I couldn't help but think to myself, Dear Lord, I think I'm going to die early...
