After breakfast, I noticed Lady Flandre standing up from her chair, a mischievous grin on her face. Her crimson eyes turned to me, and she spoke, "Shun, we're gonna play, right?" Feeling a mix of excitement and apprehension, I slowly stepped back and then started running.
"Ah? Playing tag first, I see!" she exclaimed, her wings propelling her towards me as I dashed down the hallway.
Crap! She's too fast! I'll probably get caught in a second with her bullets! Should I use it? Is it okay for me to fight back? Is this probably an invitation to the battle of bullets?!
I swiftly retrieved the small red crystal from my pocket, clutching it tightly as I continued running. "Shun! Aren't you fast?" I glanced back, only to discover that she had multiplied. She can do that?! I had no idea!
"Kyahahaha!~" Her maniacal laughter echoed through the hallway, and I saw fairies scurrying to find hiding spots. It seemed even the fairies were wary of her. Glancing behind me, I noticed three copies of Flandre, each creating intricate patterns of random bullets around themselves.
"Run while you can, Shun!~" Her voice taunted me, growing even faster. She was about to catch up! I had no choice, did I? I had to do it.
I gritted my teeth as the copies closed in, knowing that I had no other choice but to allow myself to get hurt. They abandoned their bullet barrage and lunged at me with their claws. I raised my arm to block their attack, feeling the sharp pain as it pierced my skin, causing blood to trickle down.
Once I managed to evade their strikes, I resumed my desperate escape, the pain intensifying with each step. Argh! That actually really hurts!!! Bear with it. I poured a drop of my blood onto the crystal, witnessing its transformation into a gleaming crimson blade.
With a swift turn, I sliced through Flandre's copies, causing them to vanish into thin air. "Now it's my turn!"
Swinging my crimson blade through the air, it produced a mesmerizing display of power, generating five bullets with each swing.
"Amazing... Amazing!" Flandre exclaimed, her expression shifting to a mix of fascination and a hint of something unsettling. She deftly dodged the bullets, her laughter taking on an eerie tone. A shiver ran down my spine.
Eek! She's still scary though!
I continued swinging through the air, unleashing even more bullets at a time. However, Flandre effortlessly evaded the bullets. It seemed that she is toying with me right now!
I tightened my grip on my crimson blade and swung my blade even more causing a barrage of bullets to erupt around me. Though she still managed to evade most of them, a few bullets managed to graze her.
I rushed toward her as she started flying back and started producing more bullets. I cut them one by one and evaded them. 'Dang it, I'm actually getting irritated with these bullets in the way!'
Cutting, evading, and rushing is all I do, but I can't catch up to Lady Flandre. What should I do?!
I look around to see what I can do. "Maybe I should try slowing her down so I can catch up?"
"Lady Flan! I heard that Lady Remilia ate your pudding!"
"Wait, really!?"
"It's true!"
"Grrr, I swear my sister always eats my pudding!" She slowed down, slightly irritated.
This is my chance!
I rush even faster, eventually leaping towards her and catching her, bringing her down to the ground.
"Wha!" She was left speechless, her eyes widening and her mouth slightly open.
As I gently lowered her to the ground, I thrust the tip of my blade into the ground beside her head. "I... win," I said, panting.
But instead of Lady Flan being angry, she patted my head. "Good job, Shun~" she grinned. I eventually got off of her and helped her stand up, brushing the dust off her clothes.
"Thank you, Lady Flan," I said as she continued rubbing my head.
"Now then, shall we continue?"
"Eh?" I stood up, surprised.
"Hmmm?~" Lady Flan tilted her head to the side, staring at me with her crimson eyes.
"Of course~ This time, let's play hide and seek~ But this time, I'm the 'IT' and I'll count~"
I stayed silent and sighed. "Alright, I shall go hide now." Swiftly, I ran away.
"Hehe~ Alright~" Lady Flan walked over to a wall, placed her arms over her eyes, and began counting.
In the end, I hid for an entire day. Exhausted and tired, However, thanks to Miss Sakuya's help, I managed to return to my duties. I learned my lesson from now on.
"Never play with Lady Flan"
